Formula differences

The standard dark option has a thinner consistency suited to outlines, general shading, packed areas, and custom washes. Triple Black has a heavier body for deeper values, solid placement, and high-contrast sections.

Mixing White is intended primarily for lightening other colours. It can produce pale tints and pastel variations without relying on a dense highlighting formula.

Triple White has a medium body for visible accents and broader pale sections. Heavy White HWD1 is the thickest option in the box and is designed for concentrated standalone placement.

Mixing and tonal control

The five-bottle format supports both monochrome work and colour preparation. Artists can use the darker pair directly, create measured washes, or adjust surrounding hues with the thinner light pigment.
