Dynamic Black BLK Tattoo Ink is the original all-purpose formula in the brand's dark range. Its thin consistency supports lining, shading, solid packing, and custom greywash without requiring a separate bottle for each technique.

Made in the USA by Dynamic Color, BLK has been part of the core lineup since 1990. Available sizes include 1oz (30ml) for compact setups and 8oz (240ml) for regular studio use.

Tone and consistency

The fluid body distinguishes this product from heavier options intended mainly for dense packing. It moves between defined contours, soft transitions, stippling, broader fields, and dilution-based work.

Apply it directly when a design requires a deep neutral value. For a lighter progression, divide the pigment between separate caps and adjust each ratio with a suitable solution.

Greywash preparation

Pair BLK with Dynamic 00 Mixing Solution to prepare custom washes. Adding different measured amounts creates pale, middle, and deeper steps while retaining one consistent base.
