Dynamic Violet VD1 Tattoo Ink

VD1 is a deep blue-purple pigment for floral subjects, ornamental passages, surreal work, and graphic accents. Its dark value gives lighter rose or lavender areas a defined edge.

Made in the USA by Dynamic Color, this pre-dispersed formula is vegan and never tested on animals. The manufacturer has produced tattoo inks since 1990.

Color and mixing

Use the original tone on its own. Blue shifts the mixture cooler. For warmer berry tones, add a small amount of Dynamic Magenta MD1; white creates pale lilac variations.

Application

The formula suits solid packing, layered gradients, compact shading, fine outlines, and decorative marks. Its saturated character is suited to flowers, fabric folds, fantasy motifs, and Japanese-inspired elements.

The shade can connect blue and red sections or place a dark focal point inside a brighter composition.

Compatibility and use
